STATS and Data Stadium Announce Strategic Content Partnership

Tokyo and Morton Grove, IL - November 29, 2005 - STATS LLC, North America's leading sports information provider, and Data Stadium, Japan's leading sports content disseminator, announced today that the companies have signed a reciprocal licensing agreement for distribution of their respective sports content.

STATS will act as the exclusive licensing agent of all of Data Stadium's key Japanese sports content in North America, including prestigious J-League soccer and professional baseball. Likewise, Data Stadium will be the official licensing agent of STATS' data and editorial content in Japan - allowing Data Stadium to capitalize on the strong interest in Japanese stars competing in U.S. professional sports leagues.

This strategic partnership bolsters both firms' objectives of furthering their sports coverage across the globe while retaining marketing and sales exclusivity in their home territory.

"In Japan, player information, specifically for those who play outside of Japan, such as Matsui or Ichiro, is very demanding. Through our partnership, we will easily be able to access their information. In addition to this benefit, we hope to incorporate various STATS' solutions, content, and business models. We also look forward to contributing our expertise in the field of wireless platform content to STATS," said Miyuki Morimoto, Chief Executive Officer at Data Stadium. "We expect our relationship with STATS will develop beyond Japan and North America and into Asia and Europe."

"Japan's sports culture continues to gain interest in North America and STATS is honored to team with Data Stadium in a fashion that will serve this growing audience. We are also very pleased to help Data Stadium and Japanese fans follow their icons competing in the United States," said Robert Schur, Executive Vice President at STATS. "We look forward to growing our client base and expanding current relationships as a result of this initiative."

Earlier this year, STATS announced a joint venture with MegaSports, the Associated Press' multimedia sports service, to combine news reports produced by AP sports writers and photographers with STATS' in-depth statistics and historical databases to produce a complete package of sports data and editorial content.
