 Network Engineer
STATS is searching for a first shift Network Engineer. We are the leader in providing sports information, stories, photos and audio content to media (internet, television, wireless, print), teams, game companies, etc. Our customers include, among others, FoxSports, ESPN, Yahoo!, MSNBC.com, The Associated Press, Electronic Arts, Sports Illustrated and numerous professional teams.

This position supports all networking activities for the corporate 24/7 LAN/WAN environment. Recommends, designs, and installs network and security solutions. Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications, using knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates networks to identify and eliminate problems, while always looking for ways to make improvements. Responsible for the administration and backup of network and security devices. Responds quickly to customer incident reports that disrupt normal operation of managed Information Technology (IT) systems during both normal and after operating hours. Demonstrated knowledge of designing and maintaining a stable network environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance is essential. Disaster Recovery planning and testing a plus.

Responsibilities: Support and administration of 24/7 high performance networking environment. Proactively monitors network performance and activity in order to identify and promptly resolve network problems. Designs and implements technical solutions that improve the availability, performance and security of the LAN/WAN infrastructure. Creates and maintains accurate network documentation. Determines root cause and resolution of networking problems.

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years working with Cisco networking devices required. BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience/schooling. Ability to work different shifts, as support dictates. Networking experience with Cisco routers/switches/firewalls (preferably 6500 & 7200 series) a must. Superior troubleshooting and research skills are required. Definite pluses include experience with Windows Networking, IIS, VPN, VOIP, and Load Balancing technology. Interest in professional or college sports is highly beneficial. Work would be out of our Northbrook office.

 Data Collection
STATS is seeking detail-oriented applicants with experience in the sports industry to assist with evening and weekend Data Collection duties. Candidates with extensive Mixed Martial Arts knowledge are preferred, and all candidates should be able to type 60+ WPM. Candidates should be willing to work past midnight, and should possess an excellent working knowledge of baseball, football, and college basketball. Primary responsibilities include stat-checking, data entry, and video analysis. Position is 30 hours per week starting at $10+/hour, out of our Northbrook office.  Business Development Manager – Latin America
STATS LLC is the global leader in sports information services. Increasing demand for STATS content and services in Latin America has led to the need for a full time position focused on that region. The main responsibility of this position will be to achieve revenue targets through the generation of sales leads, developing a business relationship with clients and closing accounts with business executives throughout Latin America.

This person manage the entire sales process from identifying prospects, drafting proposals in English or Spanish, leading negotiations and closing the agreements.

These endeavors will require close work with the rest of the STATS team, mainly in the United States, while targeting prospects in the Americas. The job focuses on sales of sports data feeds, editorial content and photos.

The compensation plan for this position is made up of a base salary and sales commission plan.

The successful candidate may be based out of Mexico, South America, Miami or at STATS Headquarters in Chicago.

This position provides operational and maintenance support servers in a LAN/WAN environment. Perform installation, administration, security, design, migration and deployment of operating systems, maintaining a stable systems environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance.
