Real-Time Data
STATS creates extensive custom web pages. We design these pages
based on each client's individual requirements and use our vast database
and expertise to give each page an exciting, in-depth look and feel.
STATS can incorporate pre-game analysis, real-time scoreboards, boxscores,
leaderboards, player and team stats, and many other features that add
relevant analysis and sports content to your website that any fan will
love. We have even developed complete sports pages in Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese.
Custom clients of ours include MSNBC, Yahoo!, and The Sporting
News.
Custom player pages can include individual game stats, season stats,
career stats, statistical splits, graphical stats, and player photo.
Our splits breakdown team and individual performances based on a number
of scenarios. For example, you can compare how your favorite team performs
in each venue, at night, on grass vs. turf, each month of the season,
and many other categories.
Custom boxscores include scoring summaries, team stats, top performers,
and everything else you need to breakdown a game.
Current & Historical Data
STATS offers a standard statistical package for six major sports.
This package offers minimal customization and consists of the delivery
of an active server page. This page appears within a frame on the client's
site and is stored on STATS servers. The product is hosted, managed,
and maintained by STATS. The package includes player and team stats,
real-time game casts, leaderboards, schedules, standings, injuries,
transactions, and limited historical data.
STATS offers historical data for Major League Baseball, the National
Football League, the National Basketball Association, and the National
Hockey League. STATS has deep, rich historical content dating back to
1876. It's a great way for fans to relive some of their favorite leagues
colorful past. If you want to know who led the 1927 Yankees in RBI (Lou
Gehrig - 175 by the way) you can find it with STATS.
Our historical data also includes an all-time record book and complete
team rosters for every franchise past or current.
STATS also delivers standard column-delimited data files known
as dumps. These are direct copies of our database and allow clients
the freedom to present the data in any format that suits their needs.
There are three types of dump data - game generated, daily, and historical.
Some examples of data that appears in a dump file are schedules, scores,
player info (height, weight, birth date, etc.), team and player stats,
career stats, and player and team splits. Some of our data dump clients
include CNN/SI and ESPN.
